We were looking for two solutions. One was a removable tool off-setter that repeated for our CNC mill, this product is great because it allows us to put in oversize jobs and not have to re-calibrate our probe. The Second was as a tool calibration device for our lathe, even though the lathes did come with a factory probe, it was difficult to use because it had little to no clearance with long work pieces or larger chucks. We were able to use the kinematic mount to get around this problem and share one probe with multiple machines.

The removable probe holder looks great and works great. I get zero movement on my indicator each of the times I measured for return to zero accuracy. It’s a smart and well-made tool for sure. Thanks for getting it to me via two-day air.
